The Raga-Rasa Project 

We know that music elicits emotional response. But is music universal, transcending cultural boundaries? How does culture influence emotional response?

 

The Language, Literacy and Music Laboratory at the National Brain Research Centre in NCR,   is studying the influence/role of culture on the relationship between music and emotion. We are seeking participants from varied cultural backgrounds to be a part of our study.

 

The advanced technology of functional neuroimaging, allows us to record brain activity while you listen to music.

 

So come along, and see your brain respond to music!
